You never know what is around the corner, so here is what to do when life changes
Missing or incorrect details can mean that payment of your retirement savings is delayed or even prevented.
If you get married or divorced, you may want to change your name or beneficiaries. You can update your details on the NN Investment Partners website: www.nntfi.pl. This will let us know who you would like to receive the value of your account if you die before you retire.
If you leave IMI, contributions to your account will stop. You can leave your account invested in the PPE or transfer it to another pension arrangement. If you leave your account invested in the PPE, you will still be able to keep track of your account and change your investments online. See Investment options for more information.
If you want to transfer your account elsewhere, you can move your money to another PPE or an IKE belonging to you or a beneficiary. This would close your account with the IMI Employee Pension Plan.
If you become seriously ill and are no longer able to work, you might be able to receive your savings early.
If you have any queries about how your benefits would be affected if you are ill, please get in touch with your HR Contact.
Have you moved house recently? Did you know that this can affect whether your benefits are paid when you need them?
If you move house, you can update your personal details on the NN Investment Partners website: www.nntfi.pl. You should also let IMI know.
Working fewer hours or taking a break from work can leave a gap in your savings. To make sure you can take a break and not have to worry about your future, you should consider increasing your contributions beforehand.
If you have any queries about how your benefits will be affected if you take some time off, please get in touch with your HR Contact.
If you die while you are working for IMI, your dependants will receive the value of your PPE account. You should keep your beneficiaries updated on the NN Investment Partners website: www.nntfi.pl to ensure your dependants receive their benefits quickly.NN Investment Partners website
